6000IP Series Intergral Probe Models |
Range: 0 - 60 mils (1500 µm)
Resolution: 0.05 mil / 0.1 mil (1 µm/ 2 µm)
Substrates: F, N or FN
The 6000IP Series Integral Probe Coating Thickness Gauge is a versatile, rugged tester using magnetic and eddy current principles to measure coating thickness on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, accurately and quickly. Integral Probe design offers maximum convenience and simplicity allowing for one-hand use, eliminating the external probe and cable which can be cumbersome in certain applications.
For typical paint and coating applications for a thickness range of 0-60 mils (0-1500 µm) applied to Ferrous substrates models include 6000-F1, 6000-F2 and 6000-F3. Models for Non-Ferrous applications include 6000-N1, 6000-N2 and 6000-N3. Models for use on both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous substrates include 6000-FN1, 6000-FN2 and 6000-FN3. For heavy-coating applications with a thickness range of 0-250 mils (0-6 mm) for use only on Ferrous substrates, models include 6000-FT1, 6000-FT2 and 6000-FT3.
All models are offered in three possible configurations; BASIC (1), STANDARD (2) and MEMORY (3) permitting users to select the feature set most suitable for their application. Refer to table below summarizing the different features included with each type "1", "2" or "3".
