The Tramex Compact is a hand-held instrument designed to instantly and accurately measure moisture content in wood and provide qualitative readings in wood by-products and various building materials such as roofing, insulation and plaster etc..

The Tramex Compact measures moisture content which is then indicated on a clearly calibrated analog dial. The Tramex Compact provides a full range of readings up to 40% moisture in wood and 0-100 on color coded comparative scale for other building materials.

This portable, battery-operated moisture meter combines a sophisticated electronic design with a durable, lightweight aluminium housing. The meter comes with "built in" 5/16 inch pins. Optional "plug in" hand held or slide hammer electrodes with various pin length options are available. The selection of electrodes includes: deep hammer type, shallow Penetration and deep wall type.

This pocket-size, and versatile instrument offers an accurate, fast and convenient way of moisture measurement at a low cost.
